Dr. Michael Glogauer offers patient-focused periodontal care. For him, the one-to-one interaction with patients is the highlight of his clinical practice. He enjoys meeting new people and learning from their experiences while helping improve their quality of life.
Dr. Glogauer received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and PhD at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Glogauer is a professor at the University of Toronto. He runs several dental educational study clubs for dentists, hygienists, and denturists. Dr. Glogauer also lectures, extensively, throughout Canada and internationally. He has more than 120 peer-reviewed publications on topics of oral and dental health and treatments. Additionally, he researches periodontal disease treatment, novel diagnostic methods, and treatments to improve bone prior to dental implants at the University.
Dr. Glogauer also holds the position of Chief of Dentistry for the University Health Network and he has recently been appointed as the Head of Dental Oncology at the Princess Margret Cancer Centre a leading and world class cancer centre.
