Dr. Christopher McCulloch brings a combination of clinical practice experience and periodontal research to his patients. His compassion and empathy, along with his extensive knowledge of oral health concerns, allow him to deliver the highest levels of clinical and attentive, personal care.
Dr. McCulloch received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto in 1976. In 1978, he was certified in Periodontology at Columbia University. Dr. McCulloch then returned to the University of Toronto where he was awarded his Ph.D.
Dr. McCulloch has practiced periodontology in Hamilton, ON, since 1978. He has focused his clinical practice on regenerative periodontal procedures, oral medicine, and implantology.
In addition to private practice, Dr. McCulloch is a Professor of Dentistry at the University of Toronto and Director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Group in Matrix Dynamics. Along with a small group of colleagues in the Hamilton area, Dr. McCulloch founded the Hamilton Dental Research Study Club. This group meets five times a year to discuss clinical challenges and solutions in private practice.
