OMG Perio is a specialty periodontal practice centrally located in downtown Hamilton with easy access from the main highways. Drs. Chris McCulloch and Michael Glogauer are periodontists who focus on the placement of dental implants and periodontal treatment. Chris and Michael have been practicing in the Hamilton area since 1978. Our state of the art facility houses our experienced speciality team that is focussed on providing your patients with the most expeditious and up-to-date treatment methods. We provide three different implant systems and are open 6 days a week. There is ample free parking and our facility is wheel chair accessible.

Consultation and procedure appointments booked within 3 days. Same day appointments are available for urgent cases including immediate implant placement.

Bacterial infections of the gum tissues are important and highly prevalent. One of the causes of these infections may be related to chemicals produced by bacteria that are similar to the breakdown products of sugar that occurs in diabetes. In this study we found that the diabetes product named methylglyoxal is found in gum pockets and has a large effect on the main proteins making up the gum tissues.
